The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could enable the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a life debt to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This results in them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to round up the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
