An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
